In honoring Virginia National Bank's 28th anniversary, we know we could not have been successful throughout the years without our incredible employees.
Virginia National Bank opened on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville on July 29, 1998. From the beginning, our mission has been to provide great personal service, local access to decision makers, fast response, and continuity in your relationship.
VNB still employs several employees who were hired on and leading up to the first day of service in 1998.
In 2021, The Fauquier Bank merged with Virginia National Bank combining over 140 years of banking experience to our communities. Many longtime Fauquier Bank employees remain with the bank and are still assisting the same clients that they have known over the years, and even decades.
VNB's Marketing Assistant, Sherry Taylor, recently sat down to talk to a few of our longtime employees - Renita Bland, Customer Service Representative; Rachel Burton, Accounts Payable Supervisor; and Sherrie Huber, Chief Operations Officer & Audit Manager to reflect on their banking careers and what sets VNB apart from other banks.

We invite you to celebrate Virginia National Bank's 28th Anniversary on Wednesday, July 29th, at all VNB locations. Our branches will have sweet treats available for clients who drop in!
In addition, our headquarters at Pantops in Charlottesville will have an extra special celebration! From 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on July 29th, Z95.1 radio station will join our anniversary bash with a live radio broadcast with Lisa Allen! Stop by for great music, food provided by The Catering Outfit, MarieBette Café & Bakery pastries and cake, and giveaways!
