Steve W. Blaine, Partner in the law firm of LeClair Ryan
Steven W. Blaine is a partner in the Charlottesville, Virginia office of the law firm of LeClair Ryan, a Professional Corporation, primarily practicing in business and real estate law. Prior to joining LeClair Ryan in 1999 and for more than five years, Mr. Blaine was a partner in the Charlottesville office of McGuireWoods LLP. He has served on the board of directors of the Charlottesville/Albemarle Chamber of Commerce; as a Governor of the Real Property Section of the Virginia State Bar; and was, until July 2007, a Commissioner on the Charlottesville Housing and Redevelopment Authority. He is currently serving on the board of the Jefferson School Preservation Corporation. Mr. Blaine received a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Virginia in 1979, and a J.D. degree from the College of William & Mary in 1983. As a practicing attorney in Charlottesville, Mr. Blaine provides valuable insight into the local real estate economy, and brings his legal perspective to bear in matters coming before the Bank’s Audit and Compliance Committee.
