How do I enroll in Personal Online?
You can self enroll in Personal Online right on VNB’s website. To enroll in Personal Online, all you need is your checking or money market account number, the last four digits of your social security number and the closing account balance on your last monthly deposit account statement. Click on Personal Online and then click on the link for enrollment. If you have any problems enrolling, call us at 434.817.8070 or email us at vnbserv@vnb.com.

How much does Personal Online cost?
Personal Online allows you access to your personal accounts, to pay up to 50 bills a month, and sign up for eStatements at no cost. There are no minimum balance requirements or special account requirements. The fees for regular bank charges such as stop payments and check reorders do apply.

Can I download transactions to Quicken® and Microsoft Money®?
Transactions can be downloaded to Quicken® and Microsoft Money® using the WebConnect® feature, which will import your transactions into the software in the appropriate accounts. Detailed information on how to set up the service can be found in your financial software, and there are links within Personal Online to set up instructions under the Customer Service tab. VNB has 2 links in Quicken®: “Virginia National Bank” and “Virginia National Bank -- Business”. All Personal Online users should access only the “Virginia National Bank” link to Quicken®.

What are the system requirements to operate Personal Online?
You will need the following to use Personal Online:

  • A computer with access to the Internet through an internet service provider.
  • The current or one prior version of Windows or Mac operating systems.
  • The current or one prior version of Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari.
  • The current or one prior version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • A valid email account.
