How does the VNB Gift Card work?
The VNB Gift Card is a card that works at millions of places that accept debit cards with the Visa®, MasterCard®, or Discover® logo. It carries the national logos like any credit or debit card, but because it is a prepaid card, spending is limited to the amount of money placed on the card. Each time the card is used, the purchase amount is automatically deducted from the card balance.
How do I activate my VNB Gift Card?
Your VNB Gift Card is activated automatically upon purchase and may be used immediately. Once your card is activated, it may be used to make purchases until the “Valid Thru” date printed on the card. On that date, the card will be deactivated and you can no longer use it.
How do know the balance on my VNB Gift Card?
You can verify your VNB Gift Card balance and transaction information by calling 1.866.671.5920 or visiting www.consumercardaccess.com/vnbgiftcard.
Can I return an item that was purchased with my VNB Gift Card?
You can return an item that was purchased with your VNB Gift Card by presenting the VNB Gift Card at the time of a merchandise return. If the merchant’s return policy allows it, the merchant will credit the amount of the purchase back onto your VNB Gift Card. The merchandise value will be credited back to the card within three to seven days.
Can I use my VNB Gift Card to pay for gas?
Yes. Give your VNB Gift Card to the station attendant and state exactly how much gas you want to purchase.
Can I use my VNB Gift Card for online or phone purchases?
Yes. You will need to first register your VNB Gift Card by visiting the website: www.consumercardaccess.com/vnbgiftcard. You will be asked for the card number and unique identifying information, and provided the opportunity to create a username and password. Notify Virginia National Bank of any change in your address. If the information is different, the purchase could be declined.
